Drives License Steep Hill Yard Test (Incline start)
Take note that the examiner will be the one directing you to all this stages in the yard test.
When its time to do the steep hill (incline start), the examiner will ask you to drive to it and stop where indicated. You should be able to control your car not to move backwards, most importantly to move off without rolling back, and only one attempt is allowed at this stage.
Tips on how to do the Steep hill
- Stop where indicated without allowing the vehicle to move backwards.
Apply parking brake.
Select neutral.
Check rear-view mirrors and appropriate blind spot, if applicable.
Select gear.
Obtain clutch control.
Observe
Release parking brake.
Move off without rolling back.
