The Gautrain Gold Card Facility
The Gautrain
Gold Card is a pass. It enables you to transfer between bus, train and parking
facilities... the first time you use the Gautrain parking
facilities you can access the parking facilites without a Gold Card. Once the
buyer is in possession of a Gautrain Gold Card the user can use the card to pay
for both train and bus services. You need a valid gold card to enter into and
leave the parking facilities at the Gautrain stations. EVERY passenger needs to
obtain their own Gold Card.
- The Gautrain Station parking areas cannot be left without a Gold Card.
- Every single person using the Gautrain needs their own Gautrain Gold Card... with the Gautrain Gold Card passengers can do the following:
- Transfer between train bus and Gautrain parking facilities.
- Pay for train services
- Pay for bus services
- Use the parking exit gate
- The Gautrain Gold Card allows you to load a range of Gautrain journey products including a Pay as you go to a 35 day Gautrain pass.
- Repeated use of the Gold Card can result in discounts
- A gold card costs R10 and is valid for 5 years... enquire at the station in order to buy your registered Gold Card. By registering your Gautrain Gold Card it enables the operators to blacklist the card if it should be lost or stolen.
