What is happening in the world of drivers & Licences?
Summary on what you need to know; Centurion & Delmas are one of South Africa's testing centres where you can do your drivers licence test and learners test. And when you are going to write for your learners licence you will need the K53.
For the past year South Africa has experienced a low service when coming to getting things done in testing stations stations, especially in getting a test date for learners and drivers. So because the department was experiencing too much backlog and people were not getting the necessary Licencing service the department decided to open stations on Saturday and at night.
As if that helped! It didn't because even the documentaries done on TV (special assignment) recognised that. The Licencing station had to many corruptions going on, to the extend that they uncontrollable. One testing station in Limpopo had to be closed because of the chaos. As if that was not enough the Transport department noticed that the Natis system used is not working to anyone's favour, they then decided to bring up the "big guns" Enatis which many of us will recall it to be the worst move ever made by the transport department.
Enatis always had this technical explanation to it, which I could not understand when every testing centre in South Africa went off line or closed down because of it. But I'm happy that my friend from BJ's Driving school explained to me what ENATIS MEANS;
E = Eish
N = Not
A = Available
T = Today
I = I'm
S = Sorry
I believe you now all know why you keep on being turned away at the Johannesburg Licencing centre. Driving school in South Africa
After seeing and hearing and of course experiencing so much chaos from the Enatis we decided to come up with a webpage that everyone can lay down their burdens at. We call it South Africans speak out, you also can email us your comment and we will do the rest. It is not done with any harm in mind, its just to let the department of transport know that, we are the ones affected by these, while they have their licences.
All this makes it not easy to get a licence anywhere in South Africa even Fort Beaufort & Eastern Cape.
More information about driving in South Africa you will find it here; k53 tips, licensing information, learners licence self test, driving road signs.
And good luck for your learners licence or your drivers licence.
