How and Where to Pay Traffic Fines Online

It's no fun getting a speeding ticket or a trafiic ticket for not stopping at a stop street or for the "thousands" of other possible traffic fines.

It's even less fun having to go to court after you've got a summons and forgotten to pay the traffic fine.

To make matters worse for those who don't pay for traffic fines in good time there are road blocks.

Computers using wireless internet connections are used at these road blocks to identify people who have not paid their fines. All that's needed these days is to enter the vehicle registration number and up pops any unpaid traffic fine. Here's a screenshot showing that I had recently paid 2 fines and had none outstanding.

If you've got fines outstanding there is no way you or your vehicle is leaving the road block until the fine is paid...

You can also view a photograph of your car if the speeding was captured using a camera.

The Only Good Thing About a Speeding Fine

You can now pay the fine online which saves a ridiculous amount of time when compared to a visit to one of our friendly and efficient police stations.

The website to visit to check if you have any outstanding fines and also to pay the traffic fine is http://www.payfine.co.za.
